About Farolito Press

Farolito Press was created in 2000 by Dr. L. Luis Lopez. He and his wife Maggie created Farolito Press to provide a platform for publishing quality literature that was overlooked by the major publishing companies.

Farolito Press has published nine books in as many years. Three of these books have won awards, two of which were from the Colorado Independent Publishers Association (CIPA) of which Farolito Press is a member.

Dr. Lopez was inspired by his Hispanic heritage to choose the name 'Farolito' for his company. Farolito means 'little flame' in Spanish.
